The Japanese white peony is meticulously harvested in the pristine Niigata mountains, where the combination of pure meltwater and mild summer temperatures creates the perfect environment for the purest, double-flowered white peony to thrive. Shu Uemura has devoted over 15 years to the care and selection of these blossoms, ensuring their responsible collection to preserve this precious resource. As a result, only half of the flowers are hand-picked during the months of May to June.
Blonde hair is notably delicate, which is why Yūbi Blonde was conceived, Shu Uemura’s new range for blonde hair that centers on preserving the grace of blonde hair. The state of grace refers to that moment when you’ve just left the salon, and your blonde hair is luminous, nourished, and natural. Yūbi Blonde works to extend this state over time, maintaining the integrity of your blonde hair.
Japanese white peony, or Shakuyaku, is revered in Japan as a symbol of purity and beauty. It boasts remarkable moisturizing, soothing, and antioxidant properties.
These pristine white peonies are sourced from Japan’s Niigata Mountains, where the pure meltwater and low summer temperatures create an ideal environment for the growth of the largest and double-flowered pure white peonies, evoking the area’s characteristic snowfall.
Shu Uemura has dedicated 15 years to the meticulous cultivation of these peonies. They are hand-picked during the months of May to June, with only half of the flowers being utilized to ensure that their natural growth rate is respected.
